Minneapolis-based multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and dance caller Mattie Rynkiewicz [they/them/theirs] grew up steeped in traditional song and dance. They hold a Bachelor of Musical Arts in jazz, contemporary improvisation, and French from Lawrence University. An avid composer of fiddle tunes, they frequently play for contra dances and other folkie events. You can most commonly hear them at Tapestry Folkdance Center or the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #34.

Glenrose is primarily a traditional instrument music ensemble. Glenrose was formed as a Contra Dance band in 1991. Most of us still live in North Rose, NY. The band plays many types of traditional folk dance and listening music, as well as more classically oriented material for weddings, dances and other celebrations.
