Yee Haw! Get out your western wear for a hot hootenanny with the Orleans County String Band with calling by Nancy Spero. Starting at 7:30, experience the magic of contra dancing, where all are welcome, and no partner or experience is necessary. Bring your friends, family, and fellow dance enthusiasts for a night of lively music, connection, and community. All dances are taught.
At 7:00, we’ll have an orientation session to the contra dance form. We have a sliding scale admission policy, with a target of $12. Pay more if you can, less if you can’t – come dance!

Nancy Spero lives in Ithaca NY. She has been calling contra dances, square dances, and community/family dances in the Northeast since 1988. Her dances provide high energy fun for participants of all ages, whether they are newcomers or seasoned dancers. She will have you movin’ and groovin’ to the music in no time!
