Get ready for two festive evenings of music, movement, and community as we celebrate the season with both English and contra dance!

Masquerade Ball – Saturday, October 25th
Join us for an enchanting evening of English country dancing at our annual Masquerade Ball! Costumes are admired (though not required), and we invite you to bring your favorite fall treat to share. The event runs from 6:30–9:30 pm at First Rochester Baptist Church (175 Allens Creek Rd, Rochester, 14618). Dances will be called by Dan Seppeler and music provided by Sister Haggis. Admission is $20 per person or $10 for students.

Dance if You Dare Halloween Party – Thursday, October 30th
Then, step into the spirited world of contra dance at our Halloween Dance if You Dare Contra Dance Party! Costumes are encouraged as we dance the night away to Quicksilver (Cat & Alex) and DC’s Penelope Weinberger will call the dances. Join us at 295 Gregory Street for a beginner lesson at 7:00pm followed by the contra dance from 7:30–10:00pm. $12 suggested admission.

Both events promise a warm welcome for newcomers and experienced dancers alike—no partner needed, just a love of fun and community. We can’t wait to dance with you!
