As of July 5, we have agreed to remove the proof of vaccination requirement at our English Country and contra dances. Our COVID policy page has been updated with the details. Basically,

• Masks are optional.
• Vaccinations are strongly encouraged, but not required.
• Please provide contact information on arrival at the dance.
• Take personal responsibility – if you have any respiratory symptoms, whether COVID, flu, or RSV, do not attend the dance.

The federal pandemic health emergency is over. Both URMC and RGH have dropped vaccination requirements for their health care workers. CDC has ceased reporting COVID infection rates. We observe that few people wear masks in the community. Of course, we will change our policy when and if warranted by conditions in our community.
