Country Dancers of Rochester, Inc. (CDR) is an educational organization which is dedicated to the preservation, study, teaching, enjoyment and continuing evolution of English and American traditional and historical dance and dance music.

We believe these goals are furthered by providing financial support for members to gain experience and expertise that would directly benefit our community. Every year we provide scholarship support totaling $500 to help cover the expenses of attendance at a dance-related event or activity (such as CDSS dance camp). CDR reserves the right to award scholarship money either in full to one applicant or in partial amounts to multiple applicants. Some events, such as CDSS camps, may also offer matching funds and applicants should indicate their intent to apply for such additional scholarships.
