Check out this great new dance venue just minutes from downtown Rochester – great sound system, phenomenal lighting, and a wooden floor for contra dancing! DJ Luminous will be serving up the best in mind-bending EDM, house, and classic music genres paired with accessible, rapturous modern contras.
Join us at 6 pm for a “light” potluck – hint: emphasis on salads, soups, and lighter fare that will enable us to dance nimbly afterwards. Of course, we’ll want some decadent desserts for the break, so feel free to charm us with your baking skills if desired!

Chuck Abell
In his caller persona, Chuck Abell brings us challenging dances that will exercise your mind and tickle your fancy with their intricate beauty. Chuck organizes the monthly caller meetings in Rochester to workshop new dances. He debuted his “DJ Abell” persona at our 2017 Thanksgiving Festival, with a Taste of Techno Contra session.
