We are always delighted when Katy Heine comes to call.  She is cool, calm, and an excellent teacher.  Her collection of dances is extensive and she has experience calling up and down the east coast.  The musicians tonight are energetic, creative, and superbly skilled.  Tom Santarsiero is a skilled musician who plays Guitar, Banjo Uke, and foot percussion with many bands, including The Groovemongers and New Brew.  Liza plays fiddle with many other young players and is a member of Ginger Majority.

Ithaca-based caller Katy Heine has been leading contras and community dances in the Finger Lakes region and beyond for more than 30 years. She’s known for her clear teaching style and for her large repertoire of fun and flowing dances. Whether the hall’s full of experienced dancers or first-timers, they’re sure to have a great time at one of Katy’s dances!
